Our History
From 2001 to date, the MTF has operated with the support of its regional committees & Clubs to be in line with the Sports Act.
On 18th of February 2002, the Prime Minister Sir Aneerood Jugnauth, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the National Tennis Centre, at Petit Camp.
On 25th of July 2003, the Center was inaugurated playing a major role for the development of tennis on National & International level.
MISSION
- To promote & develop tennis in Mauritius for all at all levels.
- Organisation of National & International Tournaments on a yearly basis National Training & Development for Players & Coaches at
- National Levels & Wheel Chair Tennis.
- The federation has launched the Multi Rackets Licence to enable players to perform the following activities under one registration: Tennis, Padel Tennis, beach Tennis, pickle ball and Pop Tennis.
